Tuesday, November 18, 2008. A group of committee members convened in Phoenix, November 12-13, to conduct site visits to the venues under consideration and hold planning meetings. The following are the outcomes of these planning meetings. The group spent a lot of time brainstorming potential names for the conference.
To improve electronic technology education and make it more relevant to industry employers through curriculum reform. To discuss the problems of low enrollments and retention in two-year community colleges and technical schools and to seek out practical solutions producing graduates that industry wants and needs.
